Citizen Bare

John Gratton is a 30 year old man with a wonderful wife named Vickie and three cool kids. If you get a chance to know John you will probably get to find out their names. John’s normal policy regarding his kids and the internet is that he doesn’t like to drop their names or post their pictures unless he knows that he can control who can see them. This being a public blog, you can pretty much guarantee that there won’t be any pictures or name dropping at least for a couple of years. Maybe at some point John’s paranoia will subside…but don’t count on it.

Alright…so what’s this Citizen Bare thing? and why are you blogging?

Good question. Citizen Bare is a creative outlet for Andrew James and John Gratton for any subject that comes to mind. As of this time, we are playing a majority of cover songs and the rest are originals. Andrew is like a fountain of good songs/lyrics and ideas, while John has been in a slump for a little while. It seems like the only thing that John has been able to write are the essays and stories that he needs to write for school. When John was telling Andrew about his slump, Andrew suggested that John would just write essays, stories, or a journal of all of his thoughts and ideas. That is where this blog comes into play.

John is hoping that taking a little time to write a rant, rave, or expression will help him get out the main concepts of the new songs that he often hears in part in his head. Only time will tell.
